This is a fully finished replica of the Stratos security weapon seen in the episode “The Cloud Minders” of the original Star Trek series. A variation of this prop first appeared in “Wink of an Eye” as the Scalosian disruptor, with a few cosmetic differences.
I poured my heart and soul into recreating this piece as accurately as possible. It is crafted from aluminium and French walnut, much older than Star Trek itself. The replica is based on direct measurements and photos of a cast from the original prop, as well as an in-depth study of highly detailed references from public auctions.
For the first time, the props are numbered from 1 to 7 and come with their signed certificate of authenticity.
Please note everything on the props is intended, the wood grain is clearly showing, there are some tool marks and a small step at the base of the wood barrel craddle that is left voluntarily like on the actual prop, the gold mylar tape is at a voluntary angle. I have made those props clean, but not really idealized, so you need to be ok with what you are seeing before buying them
